During Jan to Oct, the retail sales of consumer goods amounted to 38.85trillion Yuan, up 14.9% year on year. Of the total, retail sales of garments, footwear, hats and knitwear scored at 1086.1 billion Yuan in Jan-Oct, up 17.4% year on year.
In Oct, the retail sales of garments of enterprises above designated size was 90.8 billion Yuan, down 2.8% year on year; that in Jan to Oct amounted to 782.4 billion Yuan, up 19.3% year on year.
